Grandchildren arriving from South Africa, what a lovely surprise to take them to the SOL to see the lads.
Bradford could have the whole top concourse but with them been bottom will they be interested ? so the concourse capacity must be about 8,000, they might bring 2,000 so 38,000 home plus their support should be 40,000. What about drawing the mags at home in the cup ! that would be interesting. I want 49,000 whet we entertain Accrington Stanley as well so Stewart get that concourse open mate. So 2 records could go on boxing day the league one attendance and SAFC consecutive scoring !
I think I'll go. Since I only got to the first game last season and none yet, this season I should count as an 'extra'. Plus I missed 'The Last Game of The Season Silence' last year for the first time in ages, so I'll try for the Shrewsbury game as well. (Since my last visit I've acquired a new knee and another new hip and my hernia has been mended. I'm in the happy position of being able to walk again, more or less.)
This new incentive with fans buying tkts for the less fortunate AND the owners chipping in with a few each it may just happen.
Are the club putting any incentives on for this? Tough time of year for a family money wise for some.
Haha very good Raw. I think you get what I'm saying though? Not for me by the way I'll add, just more a generic question
If you check the clubs website there is a scheme where you can buy a ticket and give it back to the clubs foundation who will pass it on to those who can't afford to buy one. I'm not able to get over on Boxing Day so that's what I'll be doing. Think it's a great idea.
Am up North with family so can't go but really like this idea Cumbrian, thanks for highlighting it, really nice idea that.
Just donated my ticket to the foundations gift for Xmas scheme, the girl in the ticket office said they are overrun with donations which only started on Monday, well over a thousand sold so far.....This is really taking off just shows how generous our fans can be.
I'll be there, first time this year, so thats 2 more, don't think I have been to a match for many a year without a chaperone. Was in the 60's if my memory serves me well.
