    Met up with my Sunderland mate yesterday, to be told we will soon be in the same division. He's loving his football. Being patronised by a League 1 supporter is the new reality for Saints fans. There just aren't 3 teams worse than us. Bottom place tomorrow.

    I was watching Cardiff last night and seeing how up for it their players were when they equalised, then took the lead and then defending the lead (going mental whenever they managed to block a shot or a Wolves shot went wide) was a huge contrast to what I have seen from Saints. From what I have seen this year I couldn't name 3 teams worse than us on performances. I haven't watched Huddersfield this year though I don't think.

    We don't seem to get the the rub of the green when he's the ref, especially when the other team are Man U. I have been to games when some of his decision seem to be. Well, just wrong

    Somehow we just need to make sure there is no doubt and score enough goals to avoid the referee ‘problem’. When you’re where we are nothing ‘goes for you’ so the attitude and determination has to counteract that simple truth. Today will see if we have that necessary combination. I sincerely hope so!!

    There definitely are, at least three. Huddersfield, Newcastle, Cardiff, Burnley; all rubbish, quite significantly worse than us imo. This squad should be good enough for mid table, albeit lower mid table.
