    Great news Smug.

Despite our rivalry, I would never, ever want the Mags to go bust, for example.

But these match-fixing cheating ****heads? Bring it on!

You lads hold some long grudges.

Different owners, different players and they even have a different ground now. When will it be time to let it go?

Never CBD, it was a dark day in our history, we all saw it happen, openly cheating us and the FA did nowt about it because of Hills connection to them.
It isn't nice to see clubs in a mess but I'll gladly make an exception in Coventrys case.

When they 'go into oblivion' :emoticon-0105-wink:

My memory's not the best, but I'll never forget what that chinny bastard/those bastards did to my club, and got away with

As far as I'm aware there's no statute of limitations on grudges.

They don't have to be logical, or totally accurate, because they're actually quite harmless.

Whatever happens to Coventry is entirely their own doing and my grudge hasn't affected that in any way .... unless you believe in voodoo.

My grudge doesn't affect me in the slightest so I don't need to 'let it go' .... it doesn't keep me awake at night or lead to domestic violence.

You have grudges, as everyone does.

I couldn't care less what they are or how long you've held them because it's all in your mind.

What I find quite amusing is that Wasps, a London based rugby club, moved their operations 108 miles to the north-west, away from their traditional.supporter base, into an area comparatively well stocked with with Premiership Rugby clubs (Worcester Warriors and Northampton are only a short hop away) and they have still managed to get more people to attend one of their games in that stadium than Coventry City have.

Don’t worry about it mate you might come round to our way of thinking one day You had to be there on the night to know why the grudge will last for ever even after they get kicked out

If we won our game, would we have stayed up?

You're probably right though because the vast majority of people born in the 80's and later don't give a flying f about Coventry.

I clearly remember coming out of Goodison, finding a phone box, (oh the good old pre mobile phone days) and calling mate back in pub to find out what was going on .

I was at Highfield Road that Thursday night in May 77.

It was a real belter of a match up until we equalised to go 2-2.
I saw Yorath (Coventry) and our Norman Hunter wave at each other with about 10 minutes to go.
After that they didn't come in our half and we stayed in ours.

It wasn't a fix until 10 minutes to go.
    Then it most certainly was.
