Does getting relegated count as bottling the title challenge big time? Cos if so we are guilty as charged.
Anything other than winning the league according to the Spuds mate. So yes, you bottled it too #bottlers
Serious question what is the point of being a mid prem table team? Ask anyone who's club has gone down (mags, sland, ston etc) they've alll enjoyed the time
I used to go watch Charlton a bit when I lived in London, so I know about the thrill of relegation/promotion. Must be boring as **** finishing 11th every season.
Here's a very fosse esq post. I once went to see charlton v sunderland. now we harp on about being cold, but this game was ****ing freezing. **** the game i remember it was an orange ball. I must have eaten 5 or 6 pies.. cue the fight threats from fatty.
Great stadium that. Nestled right in between all those old Victorian houses. My old man is a Charlton lad and grew up there. Charlton were mainly playing at Selhurst Park when I was living there. If Arsenal were playing away up north and I couldn't go. I'd take my pick and go with mates to either watch Charlton, West Ham or Millwall.
No mate...giving up top spot when the season hots up in about March is bottling it...you should know that by now. Not hitting top spot at all and having spent the season chasing is not bottling it. We were never above Lesta...Goons were.
Yeah bro...I think it's called raspberry jam cookie crumble lemon fizz according to @The Liebherr Legacy the prick Good smoke though
You boys had to sink a bit too far to start enjoying it for my liking. But no doubt that being competitive at the top of a table is much more enjoyable than trying to survive in the lower reaches of the Premier League every year. Trouble is you get promoted and then what? You either try and push on and fail without serious investment or treat the PL as a cash cow to be milked until you get relegated again.
I would say that there is only Everton making a concerted effort to join the top 6 and the other 13 competing to not get relegated.
