Came second best but fairly satisfied over all. He came out very fast and I was probably 10-2 down inside 30 seconds. I spent the rest of the fight trying to claw it back. The judges said that I didn't manage, which I think might have been fair. The spectators I spoke to thought I was robbed. What I do know is who was happier to hear the final bell. He was holding on the whole last round - - the worst bruises I've got ate on my upper arms from his thumbs

Thanks for the support. The money will be used well.

Well done mate. I've never boxed in a ring but used to have a punch bag in my gym. Even during the spells when I've been in really good shape, I'd struggle to do two minutes on a punchbag. It saps your energy and that's without getting hit! Big respect man.

Get in close and fast, that's the key against a long reach Heavier boxer. Keep your elbows tight together and you wont get done from underneath and work his face/neck to starve Oxygen.

That's what I used to do when my mam was beating the **** out of me anyways. ;-)
