So, no sale then. I honestly hope that this pair of parasites go bust and end up sleeping in a gutter.
Its amazing how many people are ITK yet time and again its proven wrong .. like many here I'll wait for the offical line and go from there.
Nah It was someone who will know more than me and certainly believes it is the case, but I’m just waiting like everyone else anyway. I only mentioned it as it was a similar amount to the one quoted earlier that’s all
he might have meant "it's out of my hands" in the "that's our bottom price - take it or leave it" kind of way
Seeing as how Ehab claims there are multiple buyers it just means that the next one in the list will be the new buyers - yeah right
I hope we aren’t down to the time wasting tyre kickers now. All the serious bidders having been warned off by the Allams superior twattery and imaginative accounting practices.
Does anyone think we are really worth around 40 million? ( apart from the Allams of course) the general guesstimate is in the 20 to 25 million mark.
Depends who gets the parachute payment. I do know if we get relegated this year, we are going to be worth about £1 next year
To whoever asked what protesting has achieved. It has shown that I am not willing to be walked over. It has shown I'm not willing to stand by as future generations have been driven out of our club, whilst those who have supported for 40 or 50 years are driven out of our club. I am not going to give them a penny and be walked over. I have a backbone, I have Morales, I have principles. Protesting has achieved a hell of a lot in my eyes, some of which has already been said. More importantly it allows me to look myself in the mirror and say yes I've stood up to these vile owners of our cherished football club. If I just sat there and done nothing after time and time again they threw our support in our faces I don't know how I would live with myself. In 30 years time when I have my season ticket, I can sit back and say maybe I did just do a tiny little bit to drive them out of our club. Protesting may not do anything but I truly commend anyone who protests in any possible way it's better than sitting there and doing nothing.
"Efforts to sell Hull-based Ruscador Shipyard as a going concern have failed.... Ruscador was a wholly owned subsidiary of Tempest Diesels, a Lincolnshire firm headed by Assem Allam.... Financial difficulties besetting Tempest Diesels led to Ernst and Young being called in to administer both companies.... The cessation of operations [resulted in] the redundancy of the company's entire workforce of more than 50." Why has this detail been forgotten? We may never know. Allam's spokesman does not return my calls. 21 November 2010 - history repeating itself - take comfort from his cv - the ****
I go. I protest. I didn't rate Fish, Chris Needler, David Lloyd, Hinchliffe etc. Bunglers, con men and criminals. I went. I protested. Don't think my protests made any tangible difference, but a protest in the ground will always trump a 'silent protest.' at home. Just my opinion of course.
Fully understand that view point. I disagree obviously hence the boycott. I can't give money to people who are destroying our club, who are taking advantage of the vulnerable in society. I protest as loudly as I can at every single away match. The amount of games I go too each year hasn't diminished massively, but at least this way I'm doing my bit. Way too young for some of those other owners...still learning my protesting strategy
Is this from an article somewhere? I know his past isn't as clean as he makes out, but I didn't realise someone had ever publicly challenged him on that.
