I wonder how flattered Eight Till Late was by his run in the listed chase at Thurles this week. The horse has steadily improved throughout his career to now reach a perch of 134 but a literal interpretation of this weeks form would surely rate him in the low 150's. That race was 17secs on good to firm so its surely untrustworthy. There is also a big doubt regarding the trip as he has never been this far but he didnt look like he was stopping at Thurles. He gets on really well with the claimer who has the ride today and at 33/1 he is "interesting". Had a little EW 5 places. It would be nice to see a smaller yard nick this pot. Unhealthy number of entries from one yard and one owner imho.

gypsy island is respected here, but what did she actually beat last time out?so,WHATUCALLHER had the misfortune to bump into two nice rivals so far,and shew can go one better today.

most of these are not in the best of form at present, but not so GONNABEGOOD,whose win last time out is working out really well, and a 5 lbr rise should be manageable..big chance today..

Totally agree Stick, this Gtown monopoly is sucking the life out of Irish racing in my opinion, smaller trainers and jockeys struggling for decent rides must wake up in the morning and think 'why bother':(

    navan,1 00: MONKSFIELD HURDLE

to be honest,i thought,DINONS would have to work much harder in a better contest last time out,but he strolled home in splendid isolation at cheltenham, and the second horse has franked the form since,so he might be even better, than he could show so far.ok,giving the weight away is never easy to respected rivals, but he may well be up to it today..

yeah,a fantastic ride from ruby again!but mine was very unlucky, badly hampered through the faller..but,well,thats racing..

    exeter,1 50:

one horse, that revels in these conditions and over extreme trips is COURT FRONTIER,even though hes not the most reliable.but appeals as much as any from a dangerous mark.so,if on a "going" day today, can be competitive..

another race,in which most are on potentially dangerous marks,as is NEWBERRY NEW,who ticks a lot of boxes here

    1) goes well at this track
    2)jockey is 2-2 on him
    3)on his last winning mark

so,despite one of the outsiders here, can go well..

    another tough day...

    navan,2 30,TROYTOWN CHASE

well, ive at least managed to take 2 horses out here for me,OUT SAM and tout et permis.while the latter is much respected on his last easy win at galway, this is the furthest hes tried so far,and though theres every chance,he ll get it,i d prefer an out and out stayer like OUT SAM,who ran a tremedous race to win the cork national a few weeks ago.is 8 lbr higher today, but he has a relatively low mileage for his age,so should go very well again today..
