Essentially yes ... but I tend to fry the meat up with a little tamarind paste and Thai basil before putting the rice in .... plus the soy sauce, fresh chilli, spring onion and dash of balsamic vinegar really give it some zip ... starting to get peckish!
Everyone eats it in my house. Why would noone eat it? Sandwiches boxing day, turkey, ham and leek pie the following day and, if there's anything left, I'll do a curry after that. Stock out of the carcass. Very little wasted in our gaff.
Stock items; A decent malt, Talisker or Laphroag preferably (given to me by supply chain). A decent Gin, Tanquaray (ditto) Couple of bottles of port. Bottle of Merlyn (Bailey's Welsh equivalent but better) Various lagers and ales, no piss like Carling though. Good stuff. Will buy and secret away some craft ones for just me because I'm a selfish ****. Got ample red and white wine from the summer holidays so that too. Will make a pan of mulled wine. That's about it.
What is it with the ****s on this forum and ****ing Carling? It's fine Ask your supply chain for Ardbeg next time **** gin, it's ****e.
Carling ... do you piss it straight back into the can then chill overnight to drink again the next day? #RecyclingHadron
I might join one of these wine clubs to get some good wine in. Got some spiced rum, relying on my brother in law to get me a decent American whiskey. Gin same as you beers same as you.
You don’t have to be a snob to think Carling tastes like piss. Pay the extra 20p for an Amstel or whatever.
Carling is piss water, there is no doubt. There's so many good lagers available now, so I don't really see why people opt for this ****e when for a few pence more you can have something decent.
