Nice one. They can often turn permanent Liebs. Good luck!!

Thanks mate and yeah it's definitely one foot in the door. Been helping out with it for a month or so anyway and they wanted me over there full time, and as my place know I want to leave they were happy to do it.

This project finishes in February but there's a phase two which will be another year...

Do a good job and you're halfway there!

New year, new job, one you like? Can't beat it!

Most of the time i worked to pay the bills but had one period where i really enjoyed my job (lasted about 6 years) so much so i turned down promotion as i knew i wouldn't enjoy the offered job as much if at all.

Yeah this (even apart from not being shifts) is right more up my street than what I'm doing at the moment, with plenty of chance of progression too.

But turning up for a job that you don't like every day for 13 years ?!

**** that, life is too short.

It's to support Mrs luv, I had a fun career when I was young and her job is a lot better paid than mine. She's got a lot of work and a lot of stress so I do the easy job and pick up the slack at home. My job is **** but it suits our family life and enables us to have a good life outside of work.
