I saw one media outlet say England could win their first bit of silverware since '66 by beating Croatia and finishing top...

 

Hence me continuously saying we don't want to win or lose the group, second was very position.

 

They started playing 3 lions and the Croatia manager is saying football very well could be coming home now.

Talk about going overboard jesus

 

Pretty sure the semi and final is played when we’d normally have 2 international friendlies anyway so it’s not any more extra games.

 

But these will be deemed competitive. Friendlies would see others get a chance and most only playing one game.

 

I thought we normally had qualifiers in June anyways - thought the winners were guaranteed five team groups to balance qualifiers etc ??
If we going to have these stupid breaks I would much prefer a trophy at the end of it
As normal it is just the Brit’s turning their noses up to this comp like europa and super cup.
To me a trophy is something and this could develop into an important one
Teams were defo taking it serious way better than a friendly
Stupid ****ing time of year like but much better
For once I think fifa done something right.
Not sure on the playoff reward but the trophy is good

The other games around those dates will be qualifiers, so would of been competitive anyway.

All four finalists will be put into Euro2020 qualifying groups of 5 not 6, so they are free for the nations cup finals.

Nope we're in Group A as were the Germans before they got relegated couple of days ago

 

Group A4. The semi-finals will be made up with the winners of Group A1, A2 & A3 teams.

Will the teams that win groups B, C & D be all be put in qualifying groups of five for the qualifiers too?

If so, that's sixteen teams!
(Obviously not be in one group before anyone is predictable)
