hey guys iam heading to the wycombe v sheff utd game on 24th sept for hospitality anybody got reviews on the meal ect... and were is the best pub in high wycombe to go after the game forgot to mention coming all the way from sunny scotland lol
Hi Scott - its been a while since I had a hospitality day at AP but from what I can remember, it was quite good. Food was buffet in the executive box - chicken, sandwiches etc, plenty for everyone. You also get seats out the front of the box which is good if, like me, you prefer being outside with some atmosphere. Also fridge was stocked with beer and wine - the only downsides where that they lock the fridge during the game so you couldnt drink (they didnt lock the cupboards so you can get around this- just be aware around 2.45pm!). Also they dont let you take food or drink outside - minor really. You do get to meet a player though - probably whoever is injured at the time! As for pubs, its been a while since I lived in Wycombe but the Hobgoblin and, closer to the ground, the Hour Glass or Half Moon where ok. Have a good day!
