I use to go in Artic Ranger myself Mr Kempton though I went in Rampton Horse more ..also Greenwood. All three when I was 14 / 15 and at Leo Schultz School it was bloody easy to get served in pubs in the early 70s Seafood man I remember . ( I love seafood )
Regarding seafood i remember many years ago we were on holiday in California, first night spent in san Francisco and went to a seafood restaurant. In leaving i went outside first, i remember it was very dark and has i walked down a few i steps i met an unusual looking character with a massive rucksack type bag hung over his shoulder, he half shouted at me that they wouldn't buy his crabs which were in his bag and were all fresh " do i want one for five dollars" I said no I've just eaten, he said you don't like my crabs has well and got a large fisherman's knife out and pointed it at my neck, I said and will remember for the rest of my life, " they look great i 'll have two". I give him 10 dollars and off he went thank god
That saying warm the cockles of your heart certainty warmed mine up Chazz by god it was pounding that night
in my younger days when i lived in sutton fields, every friday night a guy in a white jacket with "kershaws seafood" on the back would wonder in with a basket of crab sticks, cockles etc. One night as he wondered in this voice shouted "hey kersahws have you got any mussels?" "yes" shouted kershaws "why dont you carry 2 baskets then!!" oh how i laughed
Yes he seemed quite a decent bloke after he took the knife away city man i expected him to run off with the crabs but he give me them so I took them back to the hotel and ate them next day.
When did this site ever produce anything remotely interesting. It's either bad jokes or a hatred for RL.
I know, but every morning I wake up excitedly expecting news from afar. Us from the antipodes are hanging out for any news
