    Eck doesnt play Tierney at right back, that was Strachan.

    If Tierney hadnt pulled out he'd have played his usual 3 centre backs with wing backs. Am no saying Tierney is a bad player but hes never going to play at left back ahead of Robertson and trying to find him a position just for the sake of playing him hasnt worked either.

    Tbh I'd prefer Tierney to play at left back, I think hes a better defender than Robertson. Should play Robertson left wing. Both players on their dominant side. Problem solved.

    Tbf Tierney should be playing left back. The fact that successive managers have trusted him to play in alternative positions shows that they think Tierney is the superior player to Robertson. They think he can be trusted to play out with the left back position and Robertson can't.

    The problem for me isnt who does or doesnt play left back, both are good players and im happy for either to play left back. The problem for me is trying to shoehorn players into positions just for the sake of playing them. Making Tierney the 3rd centre back in a formation that clearly doesnt work for us. Thats a problem
