Well it's coming. The premier league have agreed to apply for it for the start of next season. Football will never be the same, all we will have to argue about now is whether a decision should be reviewed
Diving is one of the things that brings my piss to a boil, but feigning injury and hitting the deck like you've been shot are both well up there as well. I agree on the refs, I'd also make it a straight red card for anybody but the captain of a team to argue with the ref.
What annoys me is alot of what should be punished, is already in the rule book, it's just enforced. They bring out these initiatives, the refs go full blooded for a couple of games then it's quitely ignored from then on and nothing changes. Again it comes down to the ref always playing it safe, better to give no descions than get a call wrong.
The whole rule of the referee saw the incident so can't be retrospective action is bullsh!t. Don't need to undermine the ref, nothing wrong with saying he missed something or made a mistake.
Funny thing is that alot if if the time, they go off the refs match report, so he's made no descions at the time, but as long as he says he saw it they then get away with it. It just seems a massive cop out from the fa and the refs. Bad calls are made all the time, they are discussed then forgotten about, I don't see why they are so worried about taking action. The only reason would be to protect certain teams if that was the inclination
That was one of my few hopes but judging by the WC if anything it will make it worse. Going to be awful
IMO you've enough if you sack hughes before it gets too bad. Newcastle have surged out of danger but hudderfield, fulham and cardiff are really poor.
