Yep, too many players looking for an easy mark to finish with at the end of their careers. https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/11/...d-by-celtic-return-but-sunderland-cannot-let/
John Guidetti angling for a move back to Celtic. A no for me but get this: he's only 26. Could have sworn he was in his 30s. Middling goal scoring record and a poor attitude. Can't see Brendan taking a punt on him.
Oh ..and get him signed up https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport...s/celtic-defender-dedryck-boyata-top-13599060
Or, in English: According to the newspaper O GAME, Olivier Ntcham returns to the radar of FC Porto! The 22-year-old Frenchman who represents Celtic FC has already been closely associated with FC Porto last summer and may be on the list of possible winter backs. Offer £6m+ for him and I wouldn't be sad to see him go. Good player but his attitude is rotten.
It's been reported that Porto are willing to pay £14m for his services. If true (it seems unlikely, though) Lawwell will be personally driving him to the airport en route to picking up his latest bonus cheque.
Although I can see the appeal in picking up £14m what would be the point if we don't replace him? If, however, the money was to go towards signing Benkovic then I'd be fully behind it - but that seems unlikely.
Some 'interesting' stats about Ntcham: https://www.footballscotland.co.uk/...content=Link351&utm_campaign=daily_newsletter
Scott Allen signed for Hibs on a pre-contract. Will join up in the summer on a three-year contract. Never really saw the point in signing him. Was never going to be good enough to hold down a regular spot in the team and clearly didn't impress enough in training to even merit getting a game when Rodgers was resting players. He'll be a good signing for Hibs - no doubt he'll come back to haunt us by scoring a last minute winner in a cup tie.
Scott Mctominay coming in on loan? We need another midfielder like Dave King needs another court appearance.
Speculation I know but maybe Ntcham heading out the door, this window ( ;-) ) - especially if we're getting the money being quoted for him - & yet to find a permanent replacement?
Sounds more like it's Scott Brown heading out the door. Australia bound, apparently. Can see the McTominey signing making sense if that's the case.
