Fulham have sacked manager Slavisa Jokanovic and replaced him with Premier League-winning boss Claudio Ranieri. Jokanovic makes way with the Cottagers sitting bottom of the Premier League table with five points from 12 matches. Italian Ranieri, 67, led Leicester City to the title in 2016 and has been given a "multi-year" contract by the club.
I think he will do decent for them...enough games to rescue them. They dont have such a poor squad..id say it's better than yours. You could be in trouble this season
He might get them to believe they can stay up, not seen them much this season, but when I have seen them they've looked beaten and resigned to their fate.
I know (I've put a thread on our board) ... I was suggesting that even the 'arch fluker' couldn't bring Spursy Spurs a title
Difficult to know what to expect with Ranieri. Yes he did very well to win the league with Leicester but I'm not convinced he is the man for saving lower league teams from relegation. Not surprised Fulham made a change though.
Fulham will stay up anyway, squad is decent apart from the defence which they will sort out in January. Miles better than Saints, Cardiff, Huddersfield, Newcastle, Palace and Burnley
Yep. They spent £100m or whatever it was in the summer, mainly on good players as well. It isn't really surprising they have had a slow start with that amount of change. Thanks to about 7 teams in the league being utter **** they aren't cut adrift and I expect them to be fine.
He's a lovely guy - will make the tough decisions when he needs to - but tends to do it in the 'right way' and carries himself with a refreshing polite dignity at all times - there are some marked contrasts managing football teams
