Glad you told us that Ernie. We've been saving for quite a while for when you decide to stop posting on here.

We were going to send you to an exotic Island of your choice for a month, with Jennifer Lawrence as your escort.

    Good job you told us...

The only streams I ever watch are HCFC ones- not interested in other games. Even the City ones are optional for me as I don't want internet chlamydia getting onto my pc and ****ing it up.

Scudamore and his ilk have been disastrous for football . We invented the game and have now presided over its ruin. Used to be towns and city battling it out for the league and cup in front of committed match attenders, now it's a vanity project for every foreign despot with cash to launder in search of prestige.

Good luck to players sucking from the golden tit - who wouldn't?- but whatever happened to integrity, honesty and dignity. Too many vain, poncey, histrionic cheating con men who have degraded the game with their cute cheating and 'signature' goal celebrations.

I don't claim to have seen the Golden Era of football (whenever that was, everyone has their own ideas about it) but I saw years when it was cheap to get in, a good laugh with mates, evenly-matched resources usually and free from the suffocating grip of the bullshit merchants who have leeched onto what was the People's Game, and repackaged it in line with their own dumb tastes.

    Get ****ed Scudamore.

    Yer but...

    I don't work for you ****s, do I?

Posting on here is like a voluntary role.

I'm giving up my time on here ffs.

It's similar to if I did VSOS work.

Only with slightly less intelligent and deserving people obviously.

Look, because of your confusion, I'll accept your exotic island offer.

Only I want Suzi Quattro as an escort.

That's Devilgate Drive era Suzi, not now.

So you want to travel back in time?

Can you take Aggron with you? He might be happier then.

If I'm taking on the lust-bucket that is Suzi circa 1974 I'm taking no hangers on.

Not unless they can tune a massive **** off bass guitar.

And deflect a suspicious fat drummer.

Who would have thought in May 2008 and ten years later after three PL promotions and 5 seasons of topflight football, that so little money would have trickled down into the surrounding areas and local economy?

    Sorry Ern
They left me booking it and I misread you
I thought you’d said you wanted to drive to Ireland in either an Audi Quattro or an Escort, as long as it was a rust bucket.

    Enjoy anyway

I think he did a great job.... Pretty sure his job role was to promote the Premier League and develop it on a business front.

Not pander to people's memories of 'the good old days'.

I love football, I thought I fell out of love with it with what was going on with the Allams but I haven't. I now play Sunday league (I am reasonably okay) and play seven aside during the week, it's brilliant. Scudamore hasn't ruined that, or taken that away. He did his job excellently. Football is what you make of it, I go to away games every week with my friends Hull City or others (Boycotting) and we all love it.

Just another brilliant financial decisions made by the Allams.
"If we get relegated, we'll avoid having to contribute to Scudamore's retirement gift. Let's do it".

It seems there’s been a bit of an overreaction to this, one club (Chelsea) has suggested that he gets this golden handshake and it looks like the other clubs will reject it.

The Premier League clubs have decided that Scudamore will get the £5m (paid over three years) , while being retained in consultancy role (while also having to sign a ‘non-compete’ clause).

How’s this work then? Are the current premier league clubs committing to it? Or will the promoted clubs over that period have to fork it out too?
