Sunderland play Wycombe this Saturday for which I believe is the first meeting between the two clubs in history.. Worth going for that reason alone eh! Also, with Portsmouth not playing a win will guarantee top spot.. Come on.. Get your arse down if you haven't already got a ticket..
Really looking forward to this one... Bring it on!!!

Their manager Gareth Ainsworth came over very well in the coverage of our game on Sunday, as did Vales Niel Aspinal, both are a credit to the game, lower leagues get little publicity at national level which is footballs loss imo.

I'd love to be there but am working and too far away to make it.

    Good post MrRaw.

I would have been there regardless but never realised Pompey werent playing and we could go top. The old SAFC would have blew it but the new SAFC are a different animal and I expect the juggernaut that is SAFC to go top.

After the Southend game I thought if we had had these players last season we would have stopped up, they hassle opponents and move to/with the ball quicker that has been missing for the past 2 seasons, and to go top will be great when we win, Flanagan missing might be dodgy but we should cope, as for Maja we need to keep quiet about how good he is !
