True, especially the early yellow forcing their hand later. On one hand the quality of refereeing in the country is atrocious, on the other hand the amount of scrutiny they are under is also atrocious. I would not be a referee for all the money in the world, they are constantly on a hiding to nowhere.
yeah... they are a little den of craptitidue. the old ones are briefing new ones on how to skate by rather than how to excel. make sure you get 2 or 3 bookings per side. don't.book anyone early. at the that your one foul ****e and them give them 3. never book anyone for kicking ball away or delaying etc until 80th min. ignore dives. never.yellow them. give a free to any defender who drops. linesman are the same. they won't flag for fouls or pens as they get savaged.even if correct
Thing is we are part of the issue, var would help, but a game can turn on a single desicion. If we use fernadino as an example, if he gets a yellow in the first 5 minutes, that negates his effectiveness, any break the opposition has is then not broken by a little foul, do city are now under more pressure and can't just attack. Var wouldnt give the first yellow though. Only a complete rethink of how refereeing is done and treated would change that.
Thats what i was saying about the Fulham GK who was shamelessly time wasting on 22 mins earlier today. He gets booked then he is not able to break up the game contiuously.
The first.people imo who will savage a ref would be garry snide Neville on sky and half the co commentator pundits. you can virtually break a leg in the first 5 mins and get away with anything. seriously Neville would whine for 15 mins if felliani got booked early today.
Of all the things they have to talk about, they do love a whinge at the ref. It serves no purpose and offers no insight. As a pundit, you should be pointing out things that I may not have noticed, as a professional use your superior knowledge to help me understand. Not 'he's offside there'. Yes I can ****ing see he's offside, I've got a bastard Tele to
i feel obliged to point out most pundits are still using the offside rule that applied 2 interpretations ago. In fact some appear to still be using the offside rule that was in place when they retired 12 years ago .
Nah, I am not happy with our 2nd half performance. But it shows positives, in fact only really United away have we been poor since getting a settled back four.
Fa going to do anything about that? If not we will start seeing it every week. It's cheating. Irelevant if ref might have sprayed wrong spot he's in charge.
