It would be really funny (haha funny) if Renault starts beating Red Bull next season... in a way i would be very happy, because Horner and the angry little guy who are always cursing Renault, the manufacturer that gave Red Bull 4 consecutive titles, should realise that it wasnt just the car and driver that won them the titles. It.must really hurt Renault to hear them putting down the enine so much.

Bottas does deserve a win this year. Should have had two already with Baku and Russia, but crap luck and team orders stopped this.

It has been mentioned before about what little ( If any ) Praise RBR gave Renault when all was sweetness & light .

Yet they were quick to throw them under the Bus when it all started to go wrong !

    F**K Horner & Helmet !

    Quite.

Horner gave some faint praise to them in an interview a race or two ago about them getting the blown exhaust thing right when others couldn't master it. Which was basically the backbone of RBR's dominance for those 4 years.................

Just a small amount of input there from Renault <doh>

Vettel is going to get a penalty for being a dick at the weigh-in:

"During the second Qualifying session at 15:27hrs, the driver of car number 05, when called for weighing, refused to turn off the engine. The car was pushed onto the scales and weighed with running engine, which makes it difficult to get a stable result. After weighing the driver drove off the scales under its own power, and by doing so, he destroyed the scales. As the driver was not following the instructions and further compromised the continuation of the weighing procedure, I am referring this matter to the stewards for their consideration."

Him and Hamilton could get penaltys but Hamilton does have a habit of getting away with stuff that other people get penaltys for

I honestly cannot wait for this era to end. It’s absolutely awful.

Formula 1 at the moment is between 4-6 cars.

It’s the same story transported across the world every weekend. So bored of it.
Looks **** and sounds ****. And this is Interlagos, one of the best tracks!

I've read the idea that Hamilton might get away with it because Sirotkin was on a warmup lap, but he's clearly compromised his flying lap regardless:

Leclerc is the only entertainment at the moment. Will smash Seb out of the park next year, possibly drive him into retirement.

So, Max beat Daniel by the same margin that Daniel beat Max in Mexico (i think). Let's see if Daniel reacts by wanting to do something to someone.

One would think. Somehow I can see the FIA contriving to miraculously leave a Hamilton/Vettel front run intact.

I guess the real question on the Vettel incident is whether it's a penalty, or a disqualification from qualifying? If he's prevented them getting a proper weight measurement, surely that makes the car ineligible for qualifying? It has to be treated the same as a failed weigh-in - because it could be a cynical tactic to hide an underweight car.

He knows the rules so why did he do it? One is left thinking there is a reason. It is a different kind of misdemeanor than inadvertently blocking someone on an out lap. Either that or he has got the start of dementia and I doubt that.

His argument is that in changeable conditions, waiting to be weighed could cost him the weather window in which to put in a quick time.

How that excuses driving at an official and destroying the scales, I don't know.
