On the bright side, that means more teams start to bunch together. I would rather be in a 7 team battle than a 4 team battle
Come on Temple - agree about West Ham, but do you really think Bournemouth, Watford and Leicester are going to be in the bottom 7? We need those three sides to win or at least take points off their oponents today.
Honestly, I have no idea about Watford and Bournemouth. Early days of the season yet. I remember one season Hull City were top 6 after 10 games and finished 2 points clear of relegation.
History tells us we need probably 34-38 points to stay up regardless of who wins or who doesn't, I guess that's all I am worrying about and enjoying the 3 points tonight
Believe it or not, I'm enjoying the 3 points as well. Doesn't matter how many points we get as long as 3 other teams get less. Warnock has already said that such is the polarisation between top and bottom in the Premier League now, 30 points could well be enough.
Bobby Reid 8 https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/cardiff-city-player-ratings-sol-15398010
Not enough time on the pitch to warrant that rating. Still think he should have started today instead of Ralls. Maybe too attack minded for Warnock but he'd have worried Dunk and Co on the floor instead of lobbing it to Pato all the time.
They even gave Juliet Hoilett 7 ffs. He's as much use as a one legged man in an arse kicking competition this season.
Good words by Martin Keown on Kadeem Harris on MOD and at last a renowned pundit clearly agreeing with Stephens’ dismissal. Can’t help but laugh at the Vincent Tan impersonator and Warnock’s European joke
Hoillet played very well when he came on. Hes had a poor start to the season. But played well yesterday was a key player in our promotion and deserves a bit of respect.
Don't agree with that Hilts. He lacks confidence and is totally out of sorts this season for whatever reason. Warnock sending him on as sub in the last two games hoping he'll influence the game is clutching at straws - he did nothing in both. He should be handled the same way as Zohore - you'll only get on the pitch when you're ready to do what we know you can. Until then bench sitters like Ward and Kadeem in the recent past should have been used and left Hoilett sitting there.
Quite frankly Hilts he's been f'ing useless this season. There may be an underlying reason for this that we don't know about but for me the change from last season has been quite staggering.
I stand by what i said. He played well yesterday. Made space got crosses in. He was a big improvement to Murphy who was having a off day. Hes been poor i agree. Not yesterday though.
Murphy has had 2 really poor consecutive games against Leicester and Brighton but I doubt sticking Hoilett back in the mix will improve matters. With Mendez out you'd think Hoilett should be playing but I'd persevere with Kadeem now he's finally been given the chance. Ward can also play out wide and he would give anybody trying to mark him out of the game a torrid time.
Hoilett needs to up his game big time. Still rankles he didn’t bust a gut to force that ball over the line v Spurs
