It seems to be a DVT - deep vein thrombosis - in his leg. I suffered the same complaint in 1980 and 1982; I had two by-pass ops in my leg, but they may be able to bust his clot/s these days, without an op.

It's usually only suffered in 'later life', but can be brought on by life-style...

It's quite obvious from his tweets that this was a complete shock, so it doesn't seem to be an ongoing situation he's been managing.

Lichaj. Captain material the way he waxes lyrical about him.
Milinkovic. Adkins is not impressed with him is he.

I felt the same moving from Sweden to Stoke a couple of years ago.
It was like moving from modern civilisation into "Kill or be killed" territory :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Just more Adkins nonsense speak. Good luck to Macdonald in his recovery, last time I saw him he was playing in that cup match with the kids and he was dreadful but maybe it was a physical issue after all.

Oh, I'm long gone, back in Sweden now by the sea side.
I moved there for work, later moved to London for a few years.
Stoke wasn't bad for going to some City games tho,

Happy Birthday from all at Hull City Tigers. As a part of reaching this Landmark age. You can now buy tickets at full price like the rest of the wannabe concessions!

That may be the case which makes me question the original ongoing medical advice from when he was 15, I would expect daily aspirin after months on warfarin etc, but I am referring to it being an ongoing situation that requires maintenance now going forward, which it most definitely is. A second incident usually means you are in blood thinners for life, so ongoing maintenance.
