Yesterday I was looking on the official box office website to buy tickets for Villa away. There was loads of tickets still available but it would only let me buy one when I wanted two last year I could get 2 tickets with my season ticket. Does anyone know if it will it be like this for all the games? It's an absolute joke, I'm sure our club hate the fans and want them to suffer in every way possible!

Its pure ****. As if the fans are going to run on the pitch etc.

Was only a preseason friendly and yeah they shouldn't have ran on the pitch but can safely say it wouldn't happen in competitive matches

I was at Darlington with my mate and neither of us ran on the pitch and I'm 100% certain that those who ran on the pitch at Darlington only did it for a laugh and they wouldn't even think about doing it in a EPL game. So there is no need to punish us this way. This whole club is getting more and more of a joke as the days go on! Gladly I can still stand at the home games because I stayed in that 18-25 year old area (really I'm in the family area but I just walk around) but the atmosphere up there is terrible compared to last season because the majority have been forced out. Then the ones who moved aren't allowed to support the team they have to sit down and they aren't allowed to sing like they did in level 7 in the leazes. So the club have ruined the home atmosphere, it's probably better at Wigan than SJP! Now I can't go to away games with my mates, I have to go by myself. That is an absolute disgrace! Sometimes I ask myself, why do I even bother going to games, buying season tickets etc I pay good money which I can't really afford and what does the club do to repay me? It stabs me and the other fans in the back!

The reason that people won't do it at premier league games is because the idiot kids that go to preseason friendlies, get pissed and run on the pitch, don't go to expensive away games.

Unfortunately the club didn't make the idiots run on the pitch, and due to the fact that we were heavily fined and warned by the FA as a result they are being super-cautious. If a repeat were to happen in the league sanctions would be very heavy, and you can argue it wouldn't happen in the league, but it shouldn't happen at all, it was the clowns that ran on the pitch that ruined it for everyone, not the clowns that run the club. And to be honest, not much has changed if you're a season ticket holder anyway.

Yes it has, I'm a season ticket holder and the home match experience has been ruined and I can now no longer go to away matches with my mates, I have to go by myself.

Making money is there only intention. They don't care about the fans which is a sad reality. We buy season tickets & memberships etc from the club and what do we get in return? **** all. They have destroyed SJP from graffiti on the roof to removing the iconic 'Newcastle United' on the east stand to completely killing the atmosphere. This has resulted in the home match day experience being ****, we can't even support our team. Then when we can for away games we have to go by ourselves. We can't go with 2, 3 or 4 mates any more and the general public aren't even allowed to go at all. We as loyal fans don't deserve this treatment and we have to do something about it.

I'm pretty positive it's not even because of Darlington, they're just using that as an excuse.

This is a club who can't sort out visas for it's players when they have months to prepare, can't even get one of them back into the country, can't sign a striker when they have months to find one, and yet sort out this whole "you must be a member to go to away games" in a matter of days after darlo? Yeah. Right.

But you couldn't buy tickets for them if they didn't have points anyway as you needed to put in their season ticket/membership number until it got to 0 points. So if they're going to go regularly, paying for membership and buying tickets using that won't be too bad. It's not ideal but realistically, it's neither a money making scheme nor the club reaping it's revenge.

And as for the home atmosphere, I can't be arsed to go into the whole level 7 thing again. FFS, you'd think that from 1892 to 2007 there was no atmosphere then came the legendary level 7.

Surely you can still get more than one ticket if the other person is on your friends and family list, which means you'll get seats together too?

Yeah, all you have to do is get whoever you want to go with to create an account with the box office. Then just link your accounts up and youd be able to buy tickets for them

Which makes sense since otherwise non members could get tickets during the season ticket holder window. Do we moan at everything these days?

I could by two tickets with my one season ticket for away games now I can only buy one. Therefore I could go to an away game with a mate rather than by myself. Last year whoever I wanted to go to the away game with me could if they gave me the money for the ticket I would get them and myself a ticket using my ST. This year they have to buy a season ticket or a membership in order to go with me. If they buy a membership I would have to wait until the tickets drop down to member sale before being able to buy 2 together and sometimes games don't even get to member sale. So realistically they would have to buy a season ticket in order to get 2 seats together for the majority of away games.

Only if they have a season ticket or membership but if they only have a membership you might not be able to get one for them because some games sell out before the member sale period.

Only if they have a season ticket or membership like I explained just above.
