Hello All, it's good to be back. :emoticon-0126-nerd: :emoticon-0105-wink:

Well, I've been lurking, sorry - a consumer of the board rather than a collaborator.
After the hot summer, I have to say my interest tailed off quite a bit, after two sweltering visits to the Roodee, and I followed the advice of "When the fun stops, stop"; so I stopped for a bit, popping back here now and then to stay informed.

What better way to rekindle a bit of "fun", though, than by following team FOB at Chepstow today; Rowey has already highlighted one above, but I'm more interested in one the board has gone for in the past, Socksy, in the 2.35; back hurdling, but off a lower mark according to the RP, so a good effort may be on the cards.

I've also fallen back on Franny for a little double at Chelmsford this evening:
7.20 The Night King ( how appropriate )
7.50 Footsteps Forever ( 2nd at Wolves latest, consistent type )

Looking forward to a much more enjoyable few months of jumps. :emoticon-0148-yes:

( If you were wondering, it's Diwali, so Bangalore is quiet, hence I get my chance to post )

So are we with Meep Meep (what a lovely name for a mare btw) or Harambe today? Looks another informative race at Chepstow and I still haven’t mentioned the favourite. The Big Bite is the favourite and ran fairly well in the champion bumper.

well, good question, but i ll stick with MEEP MEEP today.harambe ran above expectations in that aintree bumper, and merits deep respect, but MEEP MEEP showed up for a long way here recently, before fading out a bit,but she could have a vital fitness and experience edge today, and she gets a valuable mares allowance.so,she should go very well today..

Might just add to my notes that bunny hopping hurdles wont get you far in time...!! The Big bite looked good and solid but not much behind really...

well, fakenham form isnt really adaptable to other tracks, but there was nothing wrong with OUR REWARDs win there, and he won also twice at sedgefield about two years ago, albeit over hurdles.but if this doesnt come too soon for him,hes got a big shout today..has won off higher marks before,so that shouldnt bother him too much..

KATESON was second in the aforementioned bumper, where harambe was third at aintree, and that is by some way the best form here.so,decent chance..

a tough bumper(like most of these are..),but i often back the o brien yard in these races,as they have a pretty solid record in bumpers.so,CHAMPAGNE WELL looks a nice e w player..
