The only positive is that if I was in the Allams shoes, NOW is exactly the right time to sell and get as much as possible for the club given they have zero ambition and absolutely no desire to invest and take the club forward themselves! The value towards the end of January should be significantly lower as the club without investment represents more of a risk to any potential 'bidder'!
They definitely want out, it's now just down to whether they **** it up by being unrealistic about the value.
Well it's hard to know isn't it , if you say something is definitely for sale and you want out when you clearly have no intention of selling then after that who can believe anything you say They were probably surprised at how low the offers are now considering they are such good owners and have been running the club so well
How do we know as 'FACT' they definitely want out? Because they say so? Surely history as taught us to disbelieve every word they say?
I tell ya what.. seeing Duffens cheesy grin holding up a city scarf can't come soon enough. Never thought I'd say that!
Being owed £63 million by Hull City is why Assem wants out. Its his last chance to get his money back. Nobody with any sense would buy us after January until they knew what division we were in next season.
Because of what they're telling people privately, until now they've not actually been telling anyone privately that they want out. And because it's simple economics, either they get out now, or they risk losing a lot of money and money has always been their prime concern.
Nothing we can do now but wait and see, hopefully, as indicated it will be completed by Xmas (unfortunately he didn't specify which Xmas) as Ehab stated, but like most, I am not holding my breath.
They're having West Stand upper...Its only a rumour Stan..They were twice champs of Europe, you know.
Well if they don't sell and whether we are relegated or not we can all celebrate them losing a shed load of cash. It's a win win as far as I can see.
Can’t have the upper west mate. Breaks EFL rules and safety rules if away fans stand up.The joint safety committee informed the owners of this when they wanted to move away fans up there a couple of years ago.
I'm sure you are right but at the same time my fear remains that if they are unrealistic about the price then they may not be as keen to sell as they are suggesting.
I know money is a concern to them but I always thought ****ing off the fans (and the FA, and Hull City Council, and the EFL, etc.) was their real prime concern.
Sounding promising but my cynical side won’t allow me to believe they have gone until the keys have been. pushed through the letter box and the Allam parking slots painting over. One game at a time until then with 110% effort on the pitch from the players and vocal backing to match.
Don’t think they’ll push em through the letterbox , more likely to snap em off in the locks, the ****s.
