Won a free bet with William Hill radio yesterday, with their name the call competition. So thanks to Menorah and his Charlie Hall Chase win, I’ve got £30 on Some Day Soon in the 1:30 at Exeter.

He ran on well behind Thomas Darby at Cheltenham and I was impressed by his effort, build and attitude that day. Today looks a two horse race and I’m not a big fan of the Hobbs odds on jolly.

He faded badly on hurdles debut, and whilst better ground should suit, I wonder if he is slightly regressive and could be one to swerve at short price. Albeit the form of his return race has worked out quite nicely.

Haldon Gold Cup Day has to be the best Tuesday NH racing day of the year other than Champion Hurdle day.
I will be going for SAN BENEDETO to go one better than last year in the main race.

‘Endo ‘Enderson starting to declare some real nice animals again. I guess he’ll start running them when Mother Nature finally relents (by decreeing a lack of rain she’s decimated that card at Exeter this afternoon, incidentally). Plus, longer-term he’s put 4 in what used to be the Paddy Power and 4 in what used to be the Hennessy – new recruit Janika the only one potentially ‘doubling up’.

I fancy a champions league wager this evening- Spurs/Liverpool both -1 and Barca to beat Inter away pays 5/1.

    hi fellas! hope,youre well today.

    exeter,3 45:

well,KALIFOURCHON hasnt won for the best part of two years, but that resulted in a much lower mark now,and he at least showed a bit more last time out here.so,if improving a bit more today, can go well,at least e w..

i think,SCORPION STAR can go well here.consistency is not his strong suit, but his win two starts back has been working out quite well, and his mark is manageable.so,if in that form again today, shouldnt be far away,at least e w..
