He was okay, did a lot of tracking back. Between Hernandez and Phillips for MOM for me but a great team effort. Phillips picked out some lovely longer range passes today, I feel a bit unfair picking anyone out above the rest.
Also only watched it on sky but it's fair to say their right back bullied him physically today. Worked hard as always but **** me I'me sure he has a double barrelled surname Alioski-Offside.
They’re probably itching to get back in and waiting for us to slip up so they can have some fun but I’m guessing even they know it’s different this season so they’re preparing for us to be at least one division possibly two apart.
Phillips has been excellent all season and the premier boys are going to come sniffing sooner or later.
To be honest what would we all choose even if it was down to intense training? A) Another season like last B) This seasons display and concerns over injury/depth JFH commented on Sky that our only weakness might be strength in depth but what he is impressed with is we don’t change what’s expected of the rest. Week in and week out those that play know what is expected, they are never asked to cover an unfamiliar role or position
