It seems such a shame what has happened to Polydream, sounds like an over-officious state vet who wouldn't listen to Freddy Head about the horse he trains. This from the Racing Post website: Head, quoted by Daily Racing Form, said: "It’s a disgrace. You think I’m taking a horse to America that’s not ready to run? She trots in an awkward way because she has offset knees. On the track she is a pretty mover. I’ve tried to take them on the track to see her gallop – they [the KHRC] wouldn’t come. The state vet said no and no-one can override their decision." Reminds me of those ****ers who work at US airports - be it either at immigration or the TSA. Put some people in a uniform and they think they are Himmler
I'll have to catch up with theses tonight. Having a very quick lunch then it's off to an away match (ko 4.30)
The next looks wide open so I've taken a chance on Clemmie at 25s. Price seems too big not to have a go each way
Oscar Performance in the mile. I dont think our raiders are too great so a chance is taken with the home team.
I'm finding it pretty goddam boring chaps (to quote a well-worm American phrase). A few Europeans in the next so at least some horses I've heard of.
How far were them 2 in front of the rest. Fair play to the O'Brien horse. At least gave Enable a bit of a hurry up.
Cant believe they ran Roaring Lion on the dirt, disgraceful decision. Surely done enough for the season after that Ascot win on ground he hated, hes been on the go since the craven in top races and was never a dirt horse in a million years.
