Right, so last season, as we all know, we were rubbish for the first 7 games of the season. Bottom of the league and praying for a win.......then came the visit of Leicester City to Fratton Park and we hit them for 6 (quite literally). We have seen so many shots this season come back off the woodwork - we have created chances to win games and we have shown discipline in not giving the game away in the final minutes...... So my question is - who is in for the first pasting from PFC? If stats from last year are to be taken into account - then it will be Blackpool at home (our 8th game of the season) on the 24th September......
How is it possibly misguided? We had a awful start last season and then put 6 past Leicester........I am merely looking at last seasons stats and the fact that we have performed better this season than last...... ......If you are so certain i am being misguided, can you please provide me with access to your Delorean or Tardis please?
Real Betis was a friendly - we also played 3 youth players and had numerous players away on international duty. You comment is a non-runner thanks Possum!
Hmmmmmn! December 18th. Pompey giving someone a pasting. Well. Those with a Playstation or X-Box might get to see that......

Come on mike don't tell me you have lost that very good sense of humour you had, anyway you can't pick the games that count, other wise it could be a long long wait. Hang on funky has gone for Dec 18th but then he always did talk a lot of rubbish on the bbc 606 I dont think car head lights will affect him as most 7 year olds are in bed by 7pm On the subject of Dec 18th, i am expecting a really good tight game so no predictions from me on a goal spanking. I always felt on the old BBC 606 that it would have been a bit of fun for the more sensible fans to meet up and put a friendly face to our names and maybe enjoy a local derby chatting, as football fans should do. But can't see it some how.
I believe a pub meeting did happen a few years ago Possum - I seem to remember reading something about it on the old 606 but I'm not sure where, when or how successful it was or even if it actually happened.
Look, I didn't get where I am today by being decisive ... well I don't think I did ... there again ...
