Rhodes is not allowed to play for his parent club so Srebeny or Pukki should start . Tod Cantwell and Maximilian Aarons should return Klose cleared to play after his potty mouth interview on Sky.
So DDF reminds us that November has not yielded an away win since 2008 and we have 3 away games this month !! http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...ible-ncfc-hoodoos-to-come-to-an-end-1-5761986 It would be brilliant if we could add 6 or more points to our total. I fancy a comfortable win on Saturday and I'll be betting on the result!!!
A rather excellent article from MB trying to go some way to explaining the difference between NCFC of last season and this season this morning and well worth reading - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...nce-canaries-last-hillsbrough-visit-1-5762155 This I feel really sums up the changes between last season and this for me - 'For Norwich, the situation now is simple. After their fourth-round Carabao Cup extra-time exit at Arsenal last season, the wheels came off. Freshness was sacrificed for continuity, and the results suffered. Last season Daniel Farke made just four changes ahead of 120 minutes of gruelling football at Arsenal, and then three more for the visit of a well-rested Derby four days later; both 2-1 defeats. City won only one more game before Christmas – ironically at home to the Owls. This time around, Farke made eight changes for the League Cup trip to Bournemouth. You imagine it will be similar again come Saturday at 2pm.'.
Presser updates - 'Todd Cantwell (hamstring) and Ivo Pinto (back) are both ruled out while Jordan Rhodes is ineligible against his parent club. “We have a few concerns,” said Farke. “Todd is not available. We have tried everything to get him ready but he can’t travel with us. He still feels problems in his hamstring. “Jamal has some problems with his hamstring. I rested him on Thursday and today we were a bit careful ' #weredoomed
Potentially Max Aarons at LB and Marshall at RB then? Seems like we're pretty short of homegrown options this weekend. The EDP have highlighted it actually. Krul, Aarons, Marshall and Godfrey are our only fully fit homegrown options. Lewis and Hanley maybe, Adam Phillips also maybe, but there's a strong chance Caleb Richards, Devonte Aransibia or Anthony Spyrou could be called upon.
Thanks for the link. It has the info I was looking for. Good job by Freezer. I would rather have Godfrey at RB than Marshall. It's a shame Ida is not home grown. It will be interesting to see who makes the bench to comply with the home grown rule.
Sounds like late fitness tests for Stiepermann and Lewis, Hanley meanwhile is training with the U23s and it sounds like Farke doesn't expect him to travel. To guess: Krul Marshall Klose Zimmerman Aarons Tettey Leitner Hernandez Stiepermann Buendia Pukki Bench: McGovern, Godfrey, Vrancic, Lewis, Richards, Spyrou, Srbeny
That looks about right DH, unless Lewis is judged fit. Stiepermann has only just recovered from tonsillitis so Vrancic could start instead, especially given how well Vrancic played against Bournemouth.
So our prolific Finnish 'finisher' should be back on duty today. <getscoatemoji> http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...nship-return-at-sheffield-wednesday-1-5763568
