Thomas Campbell now a non-runner. As a result Stowaway Magic is 1/12 to gain his first fencing success.
I am quite sure Dr. Stick will have me certified for this but, what the heck, it's only money! (Glad to hear Squire's new home in the north is a good one. I wish him well and hope he gets back to winning ways real soon. Needs a nice rest IMHO. Hope you were satisfied with the selling price, Stick.) 20:45 Wolverhampton - Pennsylvania Dutch (Yes, it really is that one again. This one, a Class 5 sprint at Wolvers. At least he's back to 6f after a dismal effort over 5f at Pontefract LTO. First time ever over the Tapeta surface, but has run pretty well over the Polytrack at Kempton this season. Kevin Ryan now giving Josephine Gordon a chance to get something out of this genial rogue, even getting him out of the gate on time. Took the generally available 7/1 with Laddies earlier on.) Ah well!
stratford,2 45: widen open race, but COMANCHE CHIEFTAIN can go well here.he may not as classy as some others here, but his liking for this course is a big plus,as hes won his last two appearances here, over this distance too..also not badly treated..
clonmel,3 10: THE KING OF BREGA won well enough last time out,and the form has already been franked since then, and has also won off a mark this high before,so that shouldnt pose a problem..good chance for a follow-up today..
whoops , on both the name and the 'tip', haven't seen. the race but evidently came second , Reverend Rector , Rambling Rector , Reverend Sphincter , all have a ring to them !!
Someone was putting down Roger Charlton the other day but it looks as if he has a good one in his Kingman colt Headman. From the same female line as Enable he looks as if he’ll have more speed than her. Charlton has had an appalling year due to the virus hitting his string early in the season. Hopefully he’s seen the end of it and this colt will get a clear run through next spring. He is one of Racing’s gentlemen as James Doyle and George Baker would tell you.
