In terms of what he said, his main weakness was saying something that could easily be taken out of context by isolating one small part from what he was saying. On the other hand, it's hard to take what Carragher was saying out of context as everything he said made him sound like a complete ****ing moron - so best not mention that, eh?
Yeah, Carragher's always a bit of a tit. Neville has sense but Harry was right to pull him up for being out of order when criticising past Spurs sides.
Carragher really didn't seem to understand the stadium cost money did he? Kept on saying "where are you getting £500-600m from?". Total idiot
I dread the fanfiction that'll come from this... https://www.reddit.com/r/coys/comments/9syra0/eric_dier_and_dele_on_celebrity_gogglebox/
I think Gary is hypercritical of Utd, but it's hard to disassociate yourself from a club that was part of your life for 20 years or more. Gary has tweeted his current top five players in the PL (whilst he was bored on a train, responding to a request) - Hazard, Kane, de Bruyne, de Gea & van Dijk. Discuss.
Replace van Dijk with Kante and you're closer. Neither he nor de Gea have been on great form this season, though.
He's only scored 7 goals in 12 games! He's not playing well at all though, in all seriousness. Too short a break and two managers playing wingers higher up the pitch than him.
He is definitely not his usual self, the lack of a sensible break and having a young family seems to be taking its toll, but strangely I think he has often played better in matches where he has not scored this year than when he has. Having said that Monday night summed up his current level of performance, certainly not terrible, but he has set such high standards previously that it is easy to be hyper critical, I would say that Harry at the top of his game would have taken the chance where he had the heavy touch. He won't getting much rest anytime soon so lets hope that he bangs in a couple tomorrow to just give him (and us) a boost.
Either there's a mortar attack or one of my neighbours went to the Fireworks for Inconsiderate Dickheads shop...
You either love fireworks or hate them. Perhaps you would be so kind to send the directions so I can find this shop please. Remember, Remember the 5th of November, The gunpowder, treason and plot. I see no reason why gunpowder treason should ever be forgot. Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes twas his intent To blow up the King and the Parliament Three score barrels of powder below Poor old England to overthrow By Gods Providence he was catched With a dark lantern and burning match. Holla boys holla boys, ring boys ring Holla boys holla boys, God save the King! A penny loaf to feed the Pope, a farthing of cheese to choke him. A pint of beer to rince it down, a ***got of sticks to burn him. Burn him in a tub of tar Burn him like a blazing star Burn his body from his head And. Then we'll say our pope is dead. Hip hip hooray!!!!!
Gary Neville decides that rather than defuse the situation with Redknapp, that it's better to stoke the fires. And as a result, tweets a spreadsheet comparing his stats from a whopping great 28 games in charge at Valencia, with a clearly selective choice of Redknapps' time at QPR and Birmingham only. Nothing like comparing apples and oranges is there. He's showed no class yet again and exposes himself as a spoilt little brat. Redknapp's win percentage at Spurs, Pompy, Bournemouth and even West Ham better Neville's pathetic effort in Spain. I like him as a pundit but he's gone way down in my estimations after this. Looks like a completely arrogant clown.
Gary Neville knows next to nothing about this club., he should 'go away' and keep his silly ass-mouth shut...... .....now then.
How does he not realise that this makes him look even worse? He did slightly better with one of the biggest clubs in Spain than Redknapp did at two absolute shambles of sides. Valencia are in the Champions League, while QPR and Birmingham are poor Championship teams.
Maybe he believes the hype and praise he received from the fans and the media. I haven't seen his punditry very often and I was expecting insight after hearing how good he was. Just another slightly annoying pundit was my opinion when I did hear him. Garry Neville a boring footballer and a boring pundit.
If Gary Neville was so **** hot at management, then where’s all the job offers since leaving Valencia? Ah no... thought not!
Everything that's wrong with football today all lumped together in one destestable **** heap... Wayne Rooney: England's record goalscorer set for farewell appearance https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46089205
I don't have an issue with it, to be honest. It's a friendly that he's turning into a charity effort. His new country against his home one, rounding out his numbers to an even 120 and it reduces the likelyhood of one of our lot playing.
