I said when he was with us that he would manage at the very highest level and the don’t come much bigger than Real.

He’d be the second former Swansea Manager to manage Real Madrid - Tosh

In fact, Tosh had two spells as Real Manager.

He'll need time to rebuild the squad though, and time that the fans probably won't give him. I watched the Real v Levante game at the Bernabeu and the Madrid players couldn't string 3 passes together at times.

Absolutely! I just fear he won't be given enough time to do the job properly.

Martinez would do a good job there. I think too many of the recent Real managers problems have been through compromising the way they play based on Barcelona's style of play. Fair enough I guess because Barcelona are unreal on their day, but Real have been going into this Manchester-United-esque defensive-style display in all Classicos for at least a decade now, and it's started to filter into all of their games this season. The one thing Martinez will bring to Real is that they'll play the Martinez way no matter who the opposition are, which I think with the players they have will improve them massively! ...or leave them with gaping holes at the back and no plan B... :emoticon-0105-wink:

If employed I see him getting to the end of the season and the start of next, providing he isn't s complete disaster (which he wont be) as long as they start to improve under him he will get a go next year. Time will tell though and he needs to get the job first.
