More of a Clasie signing than a classy signing? I would very much like to see him given a chance in behind Ings. Has to be better than the lumbering Austin or the simply horrendous long
Well nearly every team that visits us at St Mary’s seems to have (usually the referee) why can’t we???....
I'm not saying Armstrong is exactly that, but he should be there. It's never going to happen so I can argue forever it will work. Anyway if we keep playing 2 strikers then Ings is going to play every minute, and his legs will fall off in January.
Reminds me of my model for running a successful football club: listen carefully to what the fans want and then do the opposite.

I don't get this assessment of Long. In one early game he got praised for simply getting tangled up with a defender and not getting to a cross so the ball goes to Ings who scored. It seems that is everything he does brilliantly and everything that is terrible about him in one simple moment.
I’ll have the man city matchthread up later on tnight at some point . I’ve not forgotten just mega busy!
We are the butt of many jokes. This one's quite good. https://www.fourfourtwo.com/feature...ng-drills-solely-theoretical-strikers-confirm
I'd give him a chance in that role. I don't think he's particularly well-suited for it (simply isn't good enough on the ball), but at this point, why the hell not.
City will be four up by HT and we end the game with 10 men. Will not try and predict the final score as the possibilities are endless, but not in our favor. It the reality that kills you.
