RIP Vichai Thank you for your generosity, vision, kindness and ambition for our football club

People say owners come and go but fans stay. Vichai will remain one of us forever

Thank you Vichai for all the memories D8DE1D08-50E7-47A1-ADDD-F27C03110ABA.jpeg

****ing stunned, can't believe it, he was way more than just an owner, one of the best, if not the best club owner in all of football, only wanting what was best for the club at every turn.

We were so lucky to have him with us and the miracle of 15/16 would not have happened without him and his family, i am eternally grateful to him and my heart goes out to Top, who above all else, has lost his father.

Rest In Peace Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha <rose>

Not only was Vichai adored by the Leicester City faithful, he was also appreciated by fans of other clubs because of how generous and giving he was. Many fans of other teams would love to have had a man of his integrity at the helm of their club.

He was and always will be a hero in the world of football, and indeed world sport for overseeing the greatest sporting feat in history: Leicester PL Champions 2016.

All my thoughts are with anyone and everyone who love Leicester City right now. Be strong guys, we're with you. From HCFC fan.

That is so touching and clearly heart felt in these days of platitudes. I wish we had an owner like your's as do probably every football supporter everywhere. My condolences to the family, the club and all of the supporters who will clearly miss him terribly. Lets also not forget the others in the tragedy and their families. A very sad day indeed.

So so sad. So generous to our city making million pound donations to the Royal Infirmary (twice) and to Leicester University. Family are devoted to make our Football Club your legacy. Your legacy goes far beyond that - one of generosity, commitment and respect. May God bless you and keep you in His loving arms and bring comfort to your family friends and colleagues. RIP Vichai:emoticon-0153-broke

Our owners gave us the platform to complete the greatest sporting miracle in history. All of our lives were deeply touched and enriched by them.

Vichai also gave an immense amount to the city and its people in many other ways. He asked for nothing from us but gave us the world in return, it was the measure of the man.

From League One to Premier League Champions.

Leicester fans the world over disagree on managers, tactics, formations and players but one thing we all whole heartedly agreed on, we had the very best of owners.

Vichai took the city, community and fans to his heart and became part of the Leicester family. We mourn with your family. Rest In Peace

I confess to a tear in the eye as I write this ... I have kept my ticket from the last day of the 2015/16 season, Chelsea away, since that day ... it was like a dream, a day I never dreamt I would see, Leicester City ... Champions of England ... I still look at the ticket if ever I'm feeling a bit down.

Thank you Vichai .. "Mr Chairman" for making dreams come true but more so for being a truly remarkable human being ...

Just been on the Prem board and a Manchester United supporter @Stan commented that we should name the stadium after Vichai ... absolutely agree and let's kick that off from here ... not only do I support that but we should also erect a statue of the man outside the main entrance ...

    RIP Vichai <rose>

First off deepest sympathies to all the families who have lost loved ones. This is the worst thing that could possibly have happened to the football club. Players will always come and go but to have an owner like this is just unheard of and to have his life end so suddenly is such a tragedy. People die every day and most go unnoticed except to those dear to them but here is a man that touched millions of people by his actions. Never will they be forgotten by an entire city and community. :emoticon-0153-broke:emoticon-0153-broke

As @Foxy in Foyle says above, one area the of the club that fans have always agreed on is Vichai, Top and the rest of their family being the very best owners and as much as we disagree about players and managers, we all loved Vichai and that is the single biggest compliment to him.
I hope that Top and his siblings continue the vision of Vichai although things will be raw for a while to come. Agree with @FosseFilberto that we have our answer for a statue outside the stadium as well. And the stand he always sat in.
He was a great man and will be so missed by everyone connected with Leicester.
RIP to Vichai and the other 4 lives lost...

I have zero association for Leicester City FC and they're just another side to me as a Sunderland fan - but your feelings are exactly how I have felt since I heard the news of the crash. My thoughts are with everyone impacted by this
