Love Sundays, so far I’ve had a dogging (pardon the pun) from Olaf and Milky but Olaf is now in a bar head in some fat birds cleavage and Milky is just peed off that my packet (***) is bigger than his. Blackman is 6’6” so I make that taller than BPF and hes also built like a man not a boy, just my opinion.
In the tightest league for years we are 4 points better off than the last 2 seasons and last season the wheels fell off.
Im sure some keepers would come for more, but from what I see, most treat the 6 yard box as theirs and leave the rest to the defence. I’m sure lover has been looking long and hard for examples but so far just managed a coaching video with precisely none. Keepers typically only come a long way at corners for high looping balls. It’s a team defensive strategy at corners that’s not working. You don’t think BPF would come if the coaches wanted him to? Maybe they do want him to come and he has panicked and stuck to his line. If that was the case I’d have expected him to get dropped after Blackburn. Maybe they’ll ask him to come from now on. If he does and doesn’t get there, I’m sure the reaction on here will be one of sympathy. Taller yes, but a skinny lanky streak of p*ss ... not that I’d say that to his face
As much as I'd hate to take on the breath taking knowledge of a fully fledged army goalkeeper (and I'm not saying BPF is the best) but if anyone thinks the goal was down to him then they either have an agenda or is a wum
Thing is we need to change something,if BPF can't do that then we should give the other guy a go,to do nothing will see a slow drop down the league imo.
... I can feel a lecture coming on for undergraduate Leedsoflondon... when professor lover has finished trawling the internet for goalkeepers who regularly collect corner kicks on the penalty spot.
Shackleton, Pearce, the Finnish kid and even Phillips? Actually, if Phillips had to drop back, Forshaw takes his place and Klich and Saiz further forward wouldn’t be the worst thing to try. Thought Forshaw and Phillips were good yesterday but Forshaw kept dropping too far back leaving Klich without much support.
