That double save by Krul was first class - I sit just behind the River End goal, but other than that, he was rarely troubled. Our back 4 are really working well together and I'm pretty sure I'm right in saying that we haven't conceded more than 1 goal per game since our defeat by Leeds. In fact the only dropped points in the last 10 games have been as the result of not 'proper goals'. Edit - Well done both DD and FML on your points haul since taking over the MDT!! #veryimpressive
Haha, I've not been involved. It's all on Dunc. And, in a small part, Farke and the players. In a way.
Cheers FML, I'd just been looking for the Tim Krul interview. Love how he says the lads all consoled Rhodes after the penalty miss with 'Look, you won the game for us on Tuesday, now we're going to win this one for you'. Talk about highlight and exemplify the buzz and team spirit in the camp at present!
Some of you will understand why there has been a reversal in fortunes over recent weeks, but I can’t put my figure on the reason, perhaps there are many. For me, I don’t think we will progress any further in EFL Cup as our chances are slim away to a very solid Bournemouth side. As we are now in top 6 staying there will surely be our main focus for the rest of the season.
The team spirit and solidarity has been the key feature for me and having a settled side helps. Everyone fights for one another nowadays and there is no shrugging of shoulders and finger pointing anymore. Everyone works their asses off and believes in the cause - we haven’t seen that kind of mentality for many a season now. Long may it continue.

You've certainly got a point and as I said earlier, our back 4 are VERY strong and limit the 'attempts at goal by the opposition and so means rul has less to do. It's so evident when you see how we play when watching a game 'live' - you don't see as much when watching a televised game.
DF's thoughts on 9 points from 3 games - https://www.canaries.co.uk/News/2018/october/daniel-farke-brentford-win/ VERY brief highlights from Saturday. I love listening to Chris Goreham's commentary and his enthusiasm for all things NCFC. Edit, there's a link thttps://twitter.com/NorwichCityFC/status/1056515927703871491 the full highlights.
I can see no way for Hanley to reclaim a starting place when fit, except injury or suspension to one of the incumbents. Strange, at the start of the season he would have been nailed on to a starting place being skipped and possibly the best CD last season. But the Zim/Klose partnership has gelled to such a point they must be automatic starters now.
TC has some real guile to his passing. If he could bring that touch to scoring goals, it would be a huge benefit to the team. Oddly, one or two on Canary Call after the game were slating him saying all he does is flick on passes and doesn't get back on defence. That's far off the mark from what I've seen.
I love him from what I've seen. He doesn't lose the ball. Often he takes the ball under pressure. Against bigger more experienced players. Often more than one at a time. Moves it on quickly. When he's in or around the box, he pulls out little bits of class like that, to open something up for a team mate. I'm not expecting a hell of a lot defensive from him. I think he hassles players, chases players down. He works hard. We have more defensive minded and skilled players to cover. Let Todd drift around keeping play moving fast and looking to open up defences.
That's one of the plays I was thinking of. TC would have had a better chance if he'd flicked over the keeper. Yes, I saw he could also have passed to Srbeny in the middle.
