There are hardly words that can describe the horror of such an event. To see a universally liked person involved in something like this seems unjust. My thoughts are with everyone connected with the family, the club and the city. I hope that everyone with connections to the club find a way of dealing with this dreadful accident.
Sky Sources: Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was among five people on board the helicopter which crashed outside the King Power Stadium
I think we all knew he was onboard, but just didn't want to admit it. Devastating news. Just unbelievable, as we all see the helicopter take off after the games.
Sky sources was Reuters so pretty much as good has confirmed. I think they also reported his daughter was on board?
We know that they were probably on board, but we don't know their condition. The fire looked horrendous but the response was very fast. I would prefer not to speculate until an official source confirms one way or the other. I cling on to the hope that the reason there has been no official statement yet is that some may have survived and are fighting for their lives or receiving treatment.
I've just this minute watched sky news and their still saying " no confirmation as to the owner being on board or not " where are you getting your information from ?
This is why it's best not to speculate until it's from an official source. There is so much mis-information out there, even from a careless BBC journalist last night.
Sky have said about Vichai, his daughter, 2 pilots and an unamed 5th person Not 1 source has commented on their condition. We have all seen the pictures and are fearing the worst but people have survived things like this before so until its confirmed no matter how small he have to have hope for them
Just wanted to drop over and give my condolences to all. Not only is it a tragedy but hundreds of people including kids witnessed it and will be traumatised. Terrible thing
Just wanted to send deepest condolences to family, friends, club and supporters. Times like this, rivalries are unimportant.
