The English midfielder will be fondly remembered for his role in setting up Troy Deeney for the winning goal in that incredible semi-final against Leicester City. Hogg made the move from Hertfordshire to Huddersfield in the summer of 2013 and has been an ever-present in the Terriers' side. He has made 169 appearances for the Yorkshire club and is one of the key men in David Wagner’s team. please log in to view this image The Coaches When Wagner took over the Terriers in 2015, few would have predicted that he would guide them out of the Championship and then keep his side in the Premier League. But the German has done just that. His team were favourites for relegation at the start of last season but the Terriers shocked many of the Premier League big boys on their way to securing a second season in the top-flight. The former United States international worked with Jürgen Klopp and you can certainly see similarities between the two on the touchline. Wagner is passionate, very vocal and has brought something new to the Premier League. XXXXXXXX Watford’s last outing saw Gracia shuffle his pack in the league as he departed from the 4-4-2 formation he had stuck to previously. He was also rewarded for the the confidence he showed in his squad players as the likes of Adam Masina, Adrian Mariappa and Isaac Success all performed well at Molineux. The performance on the road has given Gracia more than a grain of food for thought, but he is happy to have a selection headache. He is also convinced those who do not start will be able to make an impact from the bench. He said: “I am confident in all the players and the problem for me is that I have to choose only 11 to start the game. It is difficult to work out exactly why Huddersfield are in the current position of being in the bottom three. I have watched them on a number of occasions and have been quite impressed with how they have played. Maybe you can get an impression of their current plight by reading the local newspaper, who believe that they are not scoring enough goals simply because they are not getting enough people into the penalty area when the crosses come over. Having conceded 18 goals but only scoring four suggests that they have a problem at both ends of the pitch. We will all want to forget the horror show last December when we played the Terriers at the Vic, but let's not forget we also lost against them at their place. I hope they do not suddenly find some form. Watford Team News: We have Daryl Janmaat, Tom Cleverley and Sebastian Prödl out of the squad for sure. Troy Deeney and Nathaniel Chalobah are working out of the team on their own,” “We'll see tomorrow if they can help us or not. At this moment they are training out of the team.” please log in to view this image Mike Dean is our Referee WHEREVER YOU ARE IN THE WORLD - ENJOY THE GAME
Well we've just had a very good away win and they haven't earned 3 points all season.. Probably means we won't get the victory - but surely won't be worse than the 4-1 game last season! Lets hope to keep 11 men on the pitch and no-one falls over pretending to be injured thus losing the ball in the middle of our own area. Will Kabasele and Holebas come back in I wonder... 2-1 I reckon..
Looking forward to this. The next 3 matches are against struggling teams. A minimum of 6 points must be a realistic target. Perhaps more. Then we would be set up for three bigger challenges to come. As OFH points out in the intro we have a squad, and the fire power we can call upon off the bench looks great (even with others still to return). Can't remember the squad looking so good. Only red cards could ruin it as Mark mentions. We must be disciplined. All the best and fair weather to those who will be there. C'mon u'orns
Just about to stoke myself up with a pre match full English breakfast after spending a couple of hours moving leaves. Today would be a good day for Success to really show what he can do with a couple of goals. Have a good game and weekend y'all !! COYH's
