Will Smith says that he cried when he realized he had married the wrong woman. I'm going to confess to you lads, that I once cried when I realized that I had gone to the shop in my slippers. It was to buy a loaf of bread for my Nan. I was 9 years old. Things like that are so easily done, yeah? Have you made a mistake that has made you cry?
I always think people who don't regret are arrogant. We all **** up...just admit it..if not to the world(which I understand if someone doesn't)then at least to yourself. I never lie to myself...used to when I was younger...had the skill to convince myself...not now though.
Wrong. I said regret, not reflecting on a mistake that with hindsight was now an obvious bad choice. You learn from mistakes, but if you spend your time fretting about the bad calls you’ve made it’s a complete waste of emotion. You just dust yourself down and vow not to make the same one again!
Yeah I agree with that..wasn't havin a pop fam...just think we can learn from what we have regretted so I'm a firm believer in regretting...like you say though...so long as you don't let it eat you away.
We’re disagreeing over what regret is I think. Regret to me is wishing you could undo a decision or action you’d made or taken, that’s impossible to do, so it’s a wasted emotion.
Don’t think I’ve ever cried over a woman. I wept buckets when Saints beat Walsall at St Mary’s to gain promotion from League One. Every time I watch Spartacus I lose it a bit. “I’m Spartacus! - sniff”.
