Used to love this guy in the 70's and 80's but now the guy is just a sad grotesque parody of himself who appears in any old crap film for the money. Hasn't done anything of note in over 25 years. Now he's poncing around The Big Apple sounding off about Trump. The guy needs to have a word with himself, he's an embarrassment. Him and his buddy Cappacino are laughable and have been for years.
He was involved in some high class prostitute ring with some under age girls In France. He is probably being blackmailed so just does as he's told now.
Al Pacino is still a good actor. de Niro is risking his "legacy" by appearing in some utter ****e and by turning into an old, virtue signalling ****.
In the last few years De Niro has appeared in Limitless, Silver linings playbook, Joy , American hustle and Dirty Granpa. All.future classics of the silver screen.
Much prefer the lesser known (?) films from years ago: Flawlless A Bronx Tale This Boy's Life Mad Dog and Glory - f****n' great film which I first saw with my Mum in a wee Kino in Paris close to Place Bastille.
Fantastic actor in his day. Not so much now. I think the last film I liked him in was "Wag The Dog" along with Dustin Hoffman. Pacino used be fantastic too, but then turned into a shouty over-actor. Shame.
