Stunning result. Another comeback against another of the Championship giants. Incredible really. Really happy for Jordan. When given a chance in the team, he takes it. Any news on Thompson? Must have been bad if there was 10 minutes injury time?
Thompson has dislocated his shoulder and our old 'friend' Simon Hooper was VERY generous with time added on, though the River End fans kept the ball for a minute or so. Just saw this from MB -
Leeds fans demanding big Timm gets banned for swearing on SSN because one of their own got a 1 match ban for saying that the ref got away with robbery for giving Brentford a penalty . One delightful chap even tweeted that the EFL and FA are scum. The old Leeds victimhood returns. https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/10/...ll-for-norwich-city-defender-timm-klose-to-b/ #theleedseffect
I love the false equivalence of "I'm ****ing happy - ooh sorry" and "this feels **** - no I don't care. This was a robbery from the referee so it feels bad. Do you think I should be happy? No chance." It's obvious to anyone with two brain cells why the FA might choose to charge the player in one case and not the other.
Bethnal Y and G@BethnalYG Personally, I think Norwich are a better team with Rhodes up front over Pukki.
Help, am I supposed to be delighted that Leeds are currently putting Ipswich 4 points from safety, or annoyed at Ipswich for not doing us a favour? Maybe best to just focus on how well Farke has our boys playing!
It's the latter for me, DH. Leeds would go top with a win and 3 points away from safety would be enough.
I see Sergio Canos is preparing for the weekend by scoring Brentford's opener tonight. edit - very much a Daniel Farke type of player, I'd suggest.
Interesting story behind JR moving to CR - http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/...ial-club-as-brace-beats-aston-villa-1-5749769 Also extended highlights.
According to the NHS website: "A dislocated shoulder takes between 12 and 16 weeks to heal after the shoulder has been put back into place." Perhaps youth is on his side and it'll mend more quickly. Good job we didn't send Godfrey out on loan. On the good news side, Pukki is on his way back: http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...pdate-ahead-of-clash-with-brentford-1-5750127 This could be vital as Rhodes won't be available for Sheffield Wednesday a week from Saturday.
Just watched some extended highlights. That run, skill and control from Stiepermann in the first half into the box was fantastic. Second goal just gets better the more you watch it. That confident back heel from Trybull in the build up was such class. They are playing with a confident, stylish swagger. It is no good to see the Stoke defeat and then going behind in the next game, didn't crush any of that. They have just carried on.
