Bad tackle, granted. What about his comeback? Played on a plastic pitch and his leg almost fell off

So he was top assister in La Liga before he came here on the left, and always played on the left for Argentina?

    Wrong

Do you watch football, or go by what you 'heard'?

Messi never plays in his best position for Argentina so I wouldn't look too much into that

Question for people (warning common sense in this question)

Why do people think Jonas, is so ineffective on the left?

Always cuts onto his right, or hits the stands with his left footed?

My theory is because he's right footed

We know he is right footed but he has played class for us on the left...

He's not ineffective or he wouldnt still be getting games. Him being on the left creates uncertainty with his full back. He can take him on and cross it, or go onto his stronger foot and attack. He's not a traditional winger you can just stick on the right and tell him to cross all day.

From what you're saying, Downing should never have played on the right for Villa, Young shouldn't play on the left for Man U, Messi shouldn't play as a striker because he's short. Football is a game played in different ways by different players, yes Jonas is right footed, but his game is down to cutting in and link up play with the LB.

This - he is a superb player and scares **** out of fullbacks all day long even if he hasn't had a good game he is a great outlet for us to use.

Frustrating at times - yes. But, we all (well most of us) love him :)

I have but he rarely tweets and even more rarely replies. He'll be training with the national squad anyway.

Yeah - wonder how he got a national call up?

Oh yeah, because of his performances for us on the left wing :)

I love Jonas but can't understand how he got called up to play in the national squad!!! Do you remember Little Leo's comment that Jonas is one of the top 5 players in the Premier League?
