I think he might refer you to the answer he gave me.

Possibly, but how can we take his commitment to the cause of grammar seriously if that's his answer?

You are giving excuses why your grammar has been dire, yet have many options to fix it (including right click the red underlines and change words to correct spelling, i missed that one)

Yet nobody else who makes a mistake is safe from your own machinations.

    Serious now.
I've seen you write stuff when you are taking care and it's obvious there's nothing wrong with it.
Language is something I'm interested in, so bad grammar is like fingernails down a blackboard to me. However, I wouldn't seriously mock anyone for it if I thought they'd be offended - its just a bit of banter which I think we can get away with because we're all so used to each other on here.
Bad journalism is another matter though - they're getting paid for it and grammar is an essential tool of the trade for them as far as I'm concerned - so that really does irritate me. I have very little tolerance for people who can't do their job properly.

I agree with you about grammar in general and journalists in particular but in terms of forums [and also when texting], I accept there's more often than not a time issue so I also accept the mistakes or 'text talk' that go with it.

I'm surprised nobody is mentioning woodburn here.

Wilson played for derby this weekend and they won to move up to 5th in championship. didn't do much mind cos lampard is a **** manger who's stuck a guy who can score 25 a season form RF position over on the left win and as far form goal as he can get him..

However woodburn hasn't made a squad for his supposed loan club and he was brought to play u23s for us at the weekend just to keep a bare bit of match fitness. Its fair to say his loan has utterly failed.

Don't particularly rate Woodburn tbh. Wilson I am unsure on, bar a couple free kicks he hasn't done much.
Of all our youths players, the likes of Curtis Jones are the most promising.

woodbur hasnt advanced in terms of speed of thought and pass at all.

Wilson should be playing right forward like salah as he has a good finish and scores lots. I wouldn't say he's got the pace but... well he is wasted at lw by derby.
