Not sure if I misunderstand your reply, or I didn't explain myself. The 10m. highlights didn't show the dead-ball kick after the missed goal attempt. In the live stream, there was some looking at the linesman, then Mclaughlin placed the ball well outside the goal area to kick it up the pitch.
The team is ticking over nicely, really chuffed for O'Nien as well who seems like a great lad. Cracking away day all round!

I can't find any recording of the kick after the incident, so had a good look at the play itself, and can't see any obvious reason for a freekick at all. Maybe just one of those things and Mclaughlin got away with a badly placed goal kick.
