5'8 and 185lbs? Basically no chance he makes it in the NFL then. Seems an odd decision as you would assume he is retiring as he has been told he is being given an opportunity by a team over there. He won't be able to play until September 2019 at the earliest as well as he can only get into a teams reserve side atm. Wide receivers under 6' are reasonably rare nowadays so I imagine he is going to try and be a running back, which has an average career length of about 3 years so it all seems a very strange decision to me. Hopefully he does make it and does well as another actual proper English player in the NFL would be great
It seems even stranger in the light of what you say. My guess is that Eddie Jones has told him he isn’t in his World Cup plans, so he wants out. Someone must have advised him that he’ll find a home in the NFL though, you would think.
In fairness Ericsson isn’t exactly top drawer, but he is constantly outperforming the car’s potential at circuits he’s never been to before. In Q2 he banged in a lap just shy of Ricciardo’s.
Oh. Hold up, I’m wrong and you’re right. Okay, that makes it trickier. He may well get it today then.
First time for everything Looking forward to this as well as the last 4/5 races have all landed on weekends where I'm working. I'm working today but only until 2ish and with it in the US it means I can actually watch it.
