I think prem clubs should be looking at city and cheslea and absolutely robbing thier academys. Theres an article about Nathan ake and jadon sancho this week. but theres several players at both city and cheslea that could be looked at yet. I think these players really ought to be looking at leaving to further themsevles as well. https://www.goal.com/en/lists/foden...-watch-at-man-city/13vp0sct77rom109c585yp85pg https://www.goal.com/en/lists/ampad...-stars-to-watch-at/1updorxg2qmxy1l0ixhwik6t8j We have already seen hudson odoi and apandu from cheslea and of course foden and diaz at city.... mason mount at derby on loan... I think amid the money money money accusations at these clubs the actual standard of work a youth level they have done is highly impressive. If they chose to or were forced to at the moment these teams could probably take 5 or 6 kids and play them and still be winning things (if everyone was forced to) Just as a note: our youths don't even rate an article from goal..... just to think about that.
City and Chelsea have both won the Prem last couple of times. So be more emphasis on their youth teams than others. Add to the fact chelsea have how many on loan? Easy to make a story for their youth players. I have seen down the years us and utd have decent youth players. Didn't amount to much though, and no idea where they are now days.
WENGER OUT banners..... a tweet will never make up for insulting the guy to his face as he struggled for the final 2 years.
I think in fairness at this point theres guys now in senior international action and look like proper players. I wish almost there is b teams already and see if these guys could hold their own in championship.. i think they could. I don't think utd or LFC kids could.
Current Man Utd players tell ex-players to STFU I do think they have a point though but I also think that's the Fergie dressing room mentality.
I think there is a difference clearly between guys who were "adults" when iphones came out (2006) and today. The players today are social media beasts and sensitive as ****, headphones on etc etc. the players before they bullied each other into line. Ex players always make comments... just happens. but now they are not made o nthe circuit live to fans they are made in the media.
Its getting not to the point where they are almost as irrelevant as LFC are in terms of current success. Almost.. .if we won our finals we would be more relevant. For the record.... Cheslea are the most successful side in england for the past years.. so since abramovich arrived in 2004 Cheslea League - 5 ( 2004–05, 2005–06, 2009–10, 2014–15, 2016–17) FA cup - 5 ( 2006–07, 2008–09, 2009–10, 2011–12, 2017-18) League cup - 3 (2004–05, 2006–07, 2014–15) Champions League - 1 (2011–12) Europa League - 1 (2012–13) Major trophies won - 7 Cups - 8 Manchester United: League - 5 (2006–07, 2007–08, 2008–09, 2010–11, 2012–13) FA cup - 2 (2003-2004, 2015–16) League cup - 4 ( 2005–06, 2008–09, 2009–10, 2016–17) Champions League - 1 (2007–08) Europa League - 1 (2016/17) Major trophies won - 7 Cups - 6 Manchester City: League - 3 (2011–12, 2013–14, 2017/18) FA cup - 1 (2010–11) League cup - 3( 2013–14, 2015–16, 2017/18) Champions League - 0 Europa League -0 Major trophies won - 3 Cups - 4 Liverpool: League - 0 FA cup - 1 (2005–06) League cup - 1 (2011–12) Champions League - 1 (2004–05) Europa League - 0 Major trophies won - 1 Cups - 2 Arsenal: League - 1 (2003-2004) FA cup - 4 ( 2004-2005, 2013–14, 2014–15, 2016/17) League cup - 0 Champions League - 0 Europa League - 0 Major trophies won - 1 Cups - 4 Tottenham: League - 0 FA cup - 0 League cup - 1 (2007–08) Champions League - 0 Europa League - 0 Major trophies won - 0 Cups - 1
