Super computer predicts Championship finish - where Leeds United, Aston Villa and Bristol City will end up
The verdict on the Sky Bet Championship is in.

Despite only 12 matches being played, a super-computer believes it has seen enough to predict the rest of the Sky Bet Championship season.

TalkSPORT claim they have a super-computer that will be able to predict how the Championship table will finish.

Bristol City are predicted to finish in 15th position with West Brom tipped to win the league and Leeds United in second place.

The Robins had been in 13th according to their early table but have now slipped back a further two places.

    1. West Brom (champions)
    2. Leeds United (automatic promotion)
    3. Middlesbrough (play-offs)
    4. Sheffield United (play-offs)
    5. Nottingham Forest (play-offs)
    6. Brentford (play-offs)
    7. Derby County
    8. Swansea City
    9. Norwich City
    10. Aston Villa
    11. Sheffield Wednesday
    12. Stoke City
    13. Wigan Athletic
    14. Blackburn Rovers
    15. Bristol City
    16. Bolton Wanderers
    17. Preston North End
    18. Birmingham City
    19. Millwall
    20. Reading
    21. QPR
    22. Hull City (relegated)
    23. Rotherham United (relegated)
    24. Ipswich Town (relegated)

If this latest table is a correct prediction it would be a disaster for Bristol City's reputation and a total failure by LJ and his concepts, Steve Lansdown pre season requirements would be busted wide open and completely missed, makes you wonder.

Computer predictions are never correct are they?

15th whilst not desirable , and obviously not an improvement on last year , isn’t a disaster considering our better players being sold and new ones having to adapt.
As long as we don’t get tangled up in a relegation fight LJ will be fine . It’s not LJ’s concepts, it’s SL’s , that’s part of the reason , in my view , why SL was so patient last year with LJ .
If LJ goes we will need to find someone else willing to buy into SL’s philosophy, he will have much more chance of doing that by demonstrating he understands it’s a long term project , & is willing to allow time for the manager to achieve the goal.

Funny enough that's where I predicted City would finish (15th), I wouldn't call that a disaster, i'd call getting relegated a disaster, at the least it's disappointing, but maybe we expect to much from an average championship side, just my opinion.

Well if you believe the rumours that are flying around regarding this season and next, then where we finish now doesn't matter so long as we don't get relegated....

Why do we continue to pump out mediocrity when a little more effort could produce excitement and perhaps even some success? Over all the years I have been listening to the words from the top stating our belief that we deserve a better lot than the current trend makes me wonder if the ultimate will ever be in the play book. I believe that in another 5 years or so we will be exactly where we are today and the song will remain the same.

not that but can see this happening.

The rumours are we had to balance the books this season, hence why we sold our main players, so apparently we're really "going for it" next year, so i expect we'll see Johnson get his biggest war chest so far and without the need to sell any players in the next window that we don't want rid of. So anyone wanting Johnson out won't get what they want, so long as we stay out of the relegation zone. This club and its staff are being readied for next seasons push so this year it's all about steadying the ship after our loses. I imagine Kelly will be off though, if he keeps up his level of performances all season the premier league big boys will be all over a 20 year old English defender.

So I'm fully expecting a boring season where we finish mid table with dips in and out of form.

2 super leagues of 16 teams. Would mean everyone in those leagues will get more TV coverage and more money at the end of the season.

you can readily be seen to be clever if you update every few games. SHOULD THEY DO EVERY 6 GAMES THEN THE LAST 4 they can claim to be pretty accurate!
imagine if Ipswich won 4 and drew of the next 6 and leeds lost 2 drew3 won 1 === Leeds relegation zone and Ipswich in top 6

I thought he had a long contract ? , I’m sure he’d go anyway if one of the big boys come knocking, we should get a good amount for him though £20m ?

Draw back with that is it will have to wait till next TV raffle / auction then there would be the case of 12 more teams splitting "some / part / all " of the fund.. would there be 3 up 3 down? doubt it that's 6 teams from 12, and currently teams play 38 or 46 games might be good for the top 6 or 7 to just play 30 games , have Europe, but 2nd tier would be dropping "16" that's 8 home games!

<laugh> that was just me guessing. Tottenham love signing players like Kelly. Young, English, Fast, Athletic. As i say, if he keeps up the level of performances like he has all season, then a big team will take him, wouldn't be surprised if someone doesn't come for him in January. I can't remember the last time we had such a young english academy product come in to the team and look at home, Bryan and Reid took a long time with a few loans, Kelly already looks an established championship defender. I've no doubt prem scouts are at our games most weeks just to watch him.
