The title is likely to go the wire , goal difference may count at the end, so we need to improve our goal difference.

I take it you meant three?
Also, we've have only dropped points to the other two sitting at the top with us, while both of them have slipped against "lesser" teams.
I know that doesn't mean an awful lot, and we're still likely to chuck a few points at the needy at some stage, but it does show we're doing well in comparison so far.
In the past we've been inconsistent, and would let an advantageous position get away, so let's hope that the stronger defence can fix that. We do need the front three to get their act together though.

I meant two away and one at home which is three.

My view is the entire team needs to create more chances. We are not getting up the pitch well and we are taking far too long to make a pass in midfield.

Its not blind ball goes straight back where it comes form stuff either. One and two touch should be about being on the half turn looking for a positive move and playing quickly.
None of the midfield is really capable of being on the half turn and picking a pass. keita ought to be but for me he looks half fit.

I agree with Jimmy in this way......I don't want any injuries to our players but if we had to lose one from midfield I'd rather it be Horrenderson.

Need to get back to winning ways in this one after a hard cluster of games that we've come through reasonably well

Apparently Lala is ready to come back after the ****ing international break so all our creative midfielder woes are over.

    For about an hour, probably.

Cruff turns ad infinitum =/= creative.

Lallana has great technique on the ball and can trap and turn when receiving wonderfully, but cannot be called creative until he has some end product.

    Happy to be proved wrong

    Lallana was injured?

Thought he was just being left out with the inevitability of being sold next summer

Harry Kane is the top scorer at Huddersfield ground... and that includes all of their own players! Sums up their ability in front of goal. Given our good defensive record so far this season, we just need to maintain that form and be patient. Get that first goal and things should open up.

Good of game to rest Firmino and Salah, get Shaq and sturridge in for a start, Keita and studge kinked uo well pre season be nice to see those two play 90 min together.

Season before last when he was top fork he hit about 10 goals and assists I think it was? That’s what he should be doing in that kind of role but he’s yet to do that consistently and unfortunately has been injured too much since that season.

Hes another body in the middle and for all his haters he does offer something different to Gini Milner and Hendo so having that different type of player can only be a good thing, even if he’s not too top quality. Put this way I’d rather have Lallana as our creative midfielder than Hendo or gini

Thing is, Gini has been excellent when playing 6 or as the advanced mid. He just goes missing when he’s at 8.

But agree with you - Lallana gives us another option in that role. I would like to see Shaqiri there as well

Jurgen Klopp could be handed a fresh international headache - with Joel Matip has been in talks over a return to the Cameroon national side.
The Liverpool centre-back was embroiled in a public row with the African nation after being one of seven players to reject their call-ups to the African Cup of Nations in January 2017, leading to Cameroon FA arguing they should not be allowed to play for their clubs during that time.
Mathttps://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spo...atip-liverpool-jurgen-klopp-cameroon-15270418ip - at the time, first-choice under Klopp - was subsequently forced to miss two games and has not featured since.
