Only 5,900 at St Johnstone v Celtic yesterday, which Celtic won 6-0. Tony Watt was dropped for the game
I heard that he refused to play against Celtic as it is the team he supports. This was put in his contract.
If that's true then it's player-power gone mad. That Tony Watt should demand such a ridiculous condition in his contract is embarrassing enough. For St Johnstone to agree is utterly spineless.
Plus the SFA.... can't help feeling that the SFA is run by people who go to bed wearing green & white hooped PJ's
I don't mean to be disrespectful, but are nationalism and undercurrents of sectarianism really necessary in this thread - or anywhere on this forum?
The Sheriff can assure you that everything is “in order” @lardiman It’s a cruel old world out there...
Lawrie Wilson used to be sh1te. The same is now apparently true of Naby Sarr. It's amazing what some fans are willing to accept if they are fed it for long enough.
More like seeing coach loads of Celtic and Rangers fans leaving Kilmarnock on Saturday morning to support the team of their respective religion. Used to be sh1te, still sh1te.
